Bent sight on favorite air gun
Got from Sprotsmans Outfitters...Arrived with bent front sight. Outer box didn t show damage, gun box showed slight wear or damage toward one end. Didn t think a whole lot about it. I ordered a williams peep sight as it seemed the iron rear sight was way off to one side and still not perfectly centered on target. After the williams peep came when you looked through it you could easlily see that the front sight was the problem. I tried to bend it the 1/8 inch or so inorder to make it verticle and it broke. Appears to be made of bronze and was brittle. Too bad as I love these Benjamin pumps. Crossman bought them out. Have heard of others with same problem since I got mine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

NEW BENJAMIN, SAME AS THE OLD BENJAMIN
I have owned two Benjamin pump air rifles beginning back with my first in 1963. I must say, they are still the best value. The workmanship is high quality especially at a time when many manufactures are cutting corners and manufacturing products that have been cheapened by the necessity of greed and increased profits. I am considering a .22 cal pump pellet pistol, the Benjamin HB22 is my choice, too bad they no longer make them but, I will find a used one in good condition and provide a new home for it.
