This controller works well with its intended Biddeford blanket. The company stands behind their products & are easy to deal with. These controllers must not be on a switch that has dimmer capability as that will burn it out. The only downside on these is that the lights on it are very bright (I just keep a shade over it at night).

After plugging the unit in, it did not seem to work; I was getting an error message 'E'. I contacted the seller who instructed me to plug both in ends (wall & blanket). This worked! This connectivity requirement is different than the one I replaced which worked when only connected to the wall. A great value on a wonderful product!
