Finally functional, but difficult to set up, with nearly dead batteries.
I've purchased the same handset previously and it is usually easy to set up. This one apparently had some resident settings from previous use that blocked the usual setup procedure. After several attempts to link with the base unit, I was about to return it. I then tried a couple of additional maneuvers related to decoupling then recoupling the unit and it finally worked! Anyway much too difficult to set up with base unit. Also, the rechargeable battery is apparently at the end of its life. A full charge usually lasts for one or more days on my other units; on this one it is dead after a few hours.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Versatile but Dizzying number of Features
This phone has more features than most people need or can use, but, depending on your needs, some of these features can be very useful. For example, I don't need the extensive caller and number directory feature, but the intercom feature has good range, and is useful on my rural property with a main house an out-buildings. With its base station an six satellite handsets, communication is always within reach. The big LCD screen and keypad are easy to see and use.
