Yellow with black bench mount repair stand
There are two types of these orange/yellow with black bike bench mount repair stands. The type I bought has what looks like a black flange in the middle of the horizontal tube. The metal and plastic construction is well designed. The tilt on this model is controlled by two plastic plates with intermeshing teeth. There are about forty positions that readily held my heaviest bike. If you look at the pictures all the orange/yellow parts are metal and all black parts are plastic. I think the table I have this mounted to will move or tip before the stand fails. I would not use this stand to hold a bike while removing a frozen bottom bracket cartridge, but for installation, assembly, tire repair, general adjustment and detailed cleaning it is perfect. After using it a month my only regret is I did not buy one sooner. I repeat the important part of this review. Choose the model that has a black flange in the middle of the horizontal tube.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Wow- NOT a good value!
I got it home and bolted it to my worktable and put my middle-weight 70's schwinn heavy-duti ( around 45 Lbs.) on it and the rotation feature just barely held the bike in place. The bar clamp works fine but is actually made out of plastic and i don't expect it to hold up under the weight of my worksman newsboy delivery bike. so the reduced price i bought it for ( US $34.95 + Free shipping) was probably too much to pay for this cheaply made junk. I actually think it's going to bend in half if i put anything heavier than the schwinn on it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

well built and a good value for the money
i had some reservations that this unit might not be able to allow all the movements I needed for my bike build, but once I got the package and assembled the unit I could see that it was well built and allowed the frame to be held far away enough from the bench to be useful. The unit is VERY WELL BUILT considering the price tag. The movements are easy to accomplish and once you clamp everything down it stays very much in place. Great product
I am using this for both a bike workstation and a archery bow holder. It works great for both. Sturdy and fully adjustable. The only complaint I have is it is a little tall but I may just cut down the bottom tube and shorten the top one to lower it a bit. One minor issue...
The inside of the sleeve that slides over the horizontal tube... the one with the bike clamp on it. It has a cast in groove that used to evidently fit an indent inside the tube. The indent isn't there. That groove interferes with the ability to slide it in all the way. I took a die grinder to the groove to smooth it out. It now slides all the way into the tube. Otherwise this makes working on bikes a breeze. I wish I had one of these years ago.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sturdy and adjustable

Orange bench mounted repair stand

Conquer Bench Stand
Mounted the Conquer bench stand on the corner edge of the work bench allowing the bike to swivel 90* as needed. The clearance of the bike pedal to the bench is about 2”. Another wonderful feature. Overall, a very good unit at a reasonable price.
