Treat your car stereo to an upgrade with the Boss 612UA MP3/flash card/digital media receiver/USB in-dash receiver. This electronics device provides a digital music experience that you won’t want to drive without. Connect the Boss 612UA to your iPod or MP3 player, turn on the AM/FM radio, or expand your options when you plug into the USB, Aux, and SD inputs. Make sure the sound quality matches the type of music you are listening to by adjusting the preset equalizer. Compatible with MP3 and WMA formats, the Boss 612UA audio in-dash receiver does not have a CD or DVD player but this in no way detracts from the music experience it offers. The single-DIN Mech-less multimedia player has connectivity with numerous media devices, such as an MP3 player. Listen to your favorite tracks saved on your external media device by connecting it to the Boss 612UA. For example, connect the audio output of your smartphone or MP3 player to the Aux input, to play your music collections through the car stereo system. The electronics unit also has an SD memory card port and a USB port. These support SD memory cards and USB flash drive files for music playback up to 32GB. As well as utilizing USB flash drive files and your MP3 player, you can tune into your favorite radio station using the PLL synthesized AM/FM tuner. There are 30 preset stations to choose from, including 12 AM stations and 18 FM stations. Set your favorite stations in the memory and find new radio stations by just hold the tuning button, which sends the radio to manual tune mode. If you are traveling in another country, you can still enjoy music from the radio, as this in-dash receiver has switchable radio regions. The switchable tuner means that whether you are in the US or in Europe, you can adjust the radio’s tuner using the selectable tuner function in order to receive radio broadcasts. When you have chosen your preferred type of music, whether from your MP3 player, iPod, or radio station, make sure the audio sound is perfect by adjusting the equalizer. The built-in preset equalizer has preset EQ curves that you can select to match the type of music style, such as pop or rock. You can also adjust the separate treble and bass settings as well as the balance and fader controls for optimum digital music quality from the four speakers. The Boss 612UA, with single-DIN chassis mounting, has an active black mask display. The ID3 Tag stores and displays the audio file data. This means that you can view the information related to the music you are listening to, whether it is from your flash drive, MP3 player, smartphone, or other device. Read the name of the album, artist, title, track number, and music genre. For easy operation, the segmented LCD display has backlit control buttons so even if you are driving at night, you can still clearly see which buttons to use. You can skip backwards and forwards between tracks and albums. The Boss 612UA with additional USB flash drive, SD card ports, and MP3 player connectivity also has a quartz digital clock to make sure you keep track of time while driving to your destination. The Boss 612UA single-DIN digital media receiver has a maximum power output of 50 watts x four speaker output channels. The built-in amplifier RMS power is 10 watts x four speaker output channels. This digital media receiver is compatible with MP3 and WMA formats, has expansion capabilities via the USB flash port and SD card slot, and has 30 preset radio stations for flexibility when listening to music. Easy to hook up, easy to use, and overall no major problems, but it's a very basic deck. There's no blue cable for amp power on/off, so if you have an amp prepare to wire that cable to your ignition wire. The presets are basic, so there's not a whole lot of room for sound adjustment. I would get a more expensive one
This one is great value and I would get it ONLY if you use the aux or USB. If you use radio I would buy another because this one doesn't get good signal. My led broke on the first day I got it and to fix it I have to unplug it from the back and plug it back in. EVERYDAY!! It works for dirt cheap
