Info-lithium type G Sony battery
The info-lithium batteries have a longer lifespan than the normal type G that comes with a camera (I started both same day and would flip between the two). Make sure you're getting the NP-FG1 and not the NP-BG1
This Genuine Original Sony NP-FG1 Battery is nice because it allows the Sony digital camera to display how much battery power remains, in terms of actual time (minutes & seconds) rather than just bars. When ordering, be sure to ask the seller whether you'll be getting the NP-FG1 and not the NP-BG1. There is this important difference. Always discharged rapidly
