I had no trouble attaching the INNO racks to my car. Everything was done by hand, without tools. I had a combination of 1 board and 2 sets of skis in it so far. My board is a little wide, so I don't think I'd be able to fit any more than 2 sets of skis with it. But I could easily put an additional board on tops of mine. I tested it up to 90mph (it's only rated for 80, so do so at your own risk. The board was flexing in the wind, but the racks did their job. There is no stress on the racks from the high speeds. The design is very clever in that once you close the rack and lock it, everything is secured. The racks can't be removed until they are unlocked and opened up. I felt very comfortable leaving my skis and boards in there over night.
Nice rack for the money-just what I was looking for.
This is a nice inexpensive ski rack. It installed perfectly on the factory cross bars of a 2014 Ford Expedition. It looks like it will fit on just about any aerodynamic shaped cross bar. We drove over 1000 miles with two pairs of skis on it. No movement and no noise. It is also fairly low profile. It should hold at least 5 pairs of skis, perhaps 6. You could probably put between 2 and 4 snow boards on it depending on the clearance of the board that is upside down.
