This stuff is amazing! Not only are the reviews about it reliably hardening around 5 minutes true, but it also has held up very well. I made custom fitted snowboard discs and used the epoxy to fill the bottom of the nylon discs. I has held up well. I highly recommend this epoxy. Much better than other brands i have tried.
I have used this to glue my side view mirror to its metal holder and it has been about 3 months or more and is still together.
The five minute epoxy is usually better than the one minute epoxy as far as working time is concerned. One minute is ok if you mix the epoxy on the object you want to glue and then you must put the parts together immediately. The nice thing about one minute is that the parts stay together immediately but you better have everything ready. With the 5 minute you must clamp the parts together while the epoxy sets.
This here 5 minute epoxy is nice because I wanted to epoxy glass (a side view mirror on my Van) to its metal holder. The instructions on the packaging for this 5 minute epoxy states that it is suitable for use on glass and metal among other materials. After cleaning the surfaces real good, I mixed and applied the epoxy and of course I had to clamp the mirror to the metal fixture. I took some ingenuity because of course I did not want to break the glass mirror.
The one minute epoxy did not mention glass as one of the recommended materials.
