After a few years using cheap LED projectors, it was time to upgrade to something real. I spent days trying to find the best bang for the buck. And here it is. It's bright, the picture is clear, the throw ratio is decent, it's fairly compact, everything you could want in a projector. The whites are bright, the blacks are about what you'd see in a good LED backlit TV; a very faint glow in a perfectly dark room. Also if you get one without a remote, it uses a BenQ chip, so any BenQ remote or code will work for this projector. I used my phone's universal remote app to turn it on and off.

I compared this to my new office Epson 3000 lumen projector that costed $600+ and feel this Mitsubishi has better image contrast for movie viewing. Excellent value!!!
