Not all Subaru engine are the same.
It does not fit in the the engine dipstick tube of my 1990 Subaru Legacy. The inside and outside diameter of the O-ring is too large.

Fits the tube, not the dipstick.
It's important to understand that these seals are ONLY for the dipstick tube, these don't fit the dipstick itself.
