The Pentax Auto 110 SLR is an excellent traveling camera. Even with the largest 70mm lens attached, it still fits in the palm of your hand. It's easy to use. Just pop the 110 film in the back and pump the winding lever until a number (1) shows up on the back, and point and shoot. Unfortunately, it's difficult to find a place to develop 110 film and I resort to using Lomography.com to send my film out by mail to be developed. While the pictures are razor sharp, they have a slight yellowish quality which makes them look aged so I use this camera more for artistic pictures than anything else. While there isn't much functionality to the Pentax 110, You'll never find an interchangeable lens digital camera this size today.
I've wanted one of these ever since I was a teen, and they were first on the market. Always a little out of my price range, though. Better late than never. I have quite nice collection of vintage cameras, and I'm psyched to add this to it. It's in beautiful shape, and in working condition.

The camera is 45 years old and has a few issues, but still works. I'm only using it for experimental reasons, so it serves my purposes perfectly. Is it reliable? No. Does it take photographs? Yes, but intermittently. And last of all, is it doing the job in my photo-comparison experiments? Yes, very well, and this wonderful little 110 cartridge film SLR is a gem for my collection.

I own a Pentax Auto 110 & a Pentax Auto 110 Super. Both take great photos. The camera comes with 3 lenses (18mm, 24mm & 50mm). I purchased additional lenses (20-40mm zoom, 70mm wide angle & pan focus) to complete. The flash unit & winder along with rubber hoods & filters makes this small SLR a great camera! The Super model incorporated several product improvements including a timer & shutter lock. The only fault I could find over the past 30 years of use is that 110 film is no longer readily available in North America!
Great design, Great handling, beautifully engineered, Reliable and timeless Fantastic images with super clarity thanks to the beautiful and sharp lenses A joy to carry and use. Just down right plain fun with a streak of photographic seriousness that will astound the digital converts back to small frame film

This camera has been rated the best 110 camera by many experts. Auto exposure, manual focusing and slr design. Unlike many 110 cameras it doesn't use the sprocket hole to line up the frames so the film can be used with 16 mm film if someone goes to the trouble of reloading the cartridges. But, no need for that Lomo has reintroduced 110 film again! Available in both B&W and color at this wry for seven dollars per roll. This camera is fun to use and can produce some great results.
