A contrast ratio of 2100:1 provides the NEC multimedia projector with well-defined image highlights. In addition, the DLP projector has an aspect ratio of 16:9 allowing for widescreen movie viewing. A powerful 5500 ANSI lumens gives the NEC NP4100W enough light to give presentations even in rooms under brightly-lit conditions. Switching to Eco-Mode reduces the brightness to 4400 lumens, which is still sufficient for most presentations. Wireless networking allows users to link this 36-lb DLP projector to the Internet. Fully compatible with PCs, the projector also supports HDTV and component video connections. In addition, the NEC multimedia projector uses horizontal and vertical digital keystone correction to keep onscreen distortions to a minimum.
