Good product for the price.
As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality of this part. The low cost to purchase was why I bought it for how much I will use it. Only one real issue with it, the PVC pipe spacer they give you to space the tailgate on the hinges was about 5/16" too long. I trimmed it down and it works great now. Good buy if your not looking to break the bank. Easy to assemble and install. Great solution
After denting the stock tailgate we had to figure out a good replacement. The Stromberg Carlson was the perfect solution to the problem. Not only does it look good it saved us money. liked the Stromberg 100 on my old truck better
this gate is molded nice but it molded with not reinforcements. it doesn't carry any kind of load when open. Stromberg says it will not hold a person but will hold a cooler. Hope it's a small cooler. I liked the Stromberg 100 gate I had on my old truck. It was tubular steel and was expanded metal giving more flow thru area than the molded style. it good quality molding, but beware if you would use or set anything on your tailgate when open.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
