Do yourself a big favor.
I purchased a different thermostat for a couple dollars cheaper and that was a big mistake. Had issues with the running temperature of car varied quite a bit and noticed cooling fans were on more than they should be. Cooling system was properly bled. Been a professional mechanic for 30+ years and take my advice that this OEM thermostat is the way to go. Does not come with gasket and in my opinion the Aisin gasket they sell on ebay is the way to go because of its metal construction as opposed to paper type sold for cheaper.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Stock Nissan Thermostat, no gasket.
First, the item was poorly packaged. Part of it busted through the stock Nissan packaging and looked like it had been bouncing around the outer packaging. It did not look damaged, but it was off putting. Next, The part did not include a gasket, so watch out, you'll need to buy one. After purchasing a gasket, it bolted up just fine and did not have any leaks. Lastly, it did not solve my overheating problem. Great item, I had put a Stant thermostat in my g35 and it over heated within 2 blocks. I replaced it with this and car runs great! No over heating problem . Did a boil test on it before install- opened up at 183 degrees, Stant wouldn’t open till 213 degrees boiling the coolant. Great product, very happy!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
