Great fix/save for poor Ford engineering
The perfect fix for the easy to rot out OE fitting. Note: QUICK TIP, cut appx 1/4” off long nipple, otherwise front engine accessories will need to be removed. And either get proper coolant temp SENDING UNIT, not sensor (there are 2 different available) or carefully removed old sending unit (good luck with that tho)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Light speed delivery
Ok it's just a housing, holds the sensor. Ford wanted $95 for it. Auto parts stores couldn't get it. Junk yard was an option. Unless this rusts out in a year or two, this is the answer to ford's unreal price. I received it in two days. It's a no brainer. The coolant tube could stand to be 1/4 inch shorter to miss the idler pulley bracket. Just modify it a tad bit. ie..dremmel tool.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

hose connector too long
if it were a tiny bit shorter it would make the removal of the whole driver side bracket unnecessary. i cut a small wedge into it with my grinder, then used a wide hose clamp.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
