The tea itself tastes good, but unfortunately it is not the best quality I think. The color of the powder is much more brownish than I am used to. In comparison to other really good matcha teas.

This matcha powder is of bad quality as it has a dull army green color. Once the package is open, you have a gigantic clue: color. Quality matcha should be bright, bright, BRIGHT green. Electric green. Bad matcha will be a dull green; some are even army green, others are downright yellowish. These colors are bad signs indeed: they mean that 1) the matcha is well past its prime, 2) the matcha contains stems and branches, or 3) mostly like both 1 and 2. So color is the biggest immediate factor in assessing the quality of matcha.

I have been buying this green tea powder for a while and I can say it is the nicest tasting green tea I have tasted and you only need the tiniest amount not even a quarter of a tea spoon for a tea pot.

i'm not matcha expert, but i had experience with japan quality matcha, and i found this matcha taste too bitter and the color is dull green, but it's good for the value, as the price is very low compared to quality one. maybe good for culinary and cosmetic use rather than drinking as tea.

I bought it for the health benefits so the taste doesn't matter too much. Though this batch was darker, not vibrant green and it was very bitter. I may have prepared it wrong and it was my first time buying Matcha Powder; So I may have prepared it wrong but I still feel that overall this was more bitter than expected.
