Mules in SW Louisiana know bugs
The first time or two even my ear shy mule stands for his fly mask to be put on. They used to come in from the pasture with bloody noses, ears and face from insects bites. I don't like putting insecticide on the face nor do they. I have purchased both the grey mask and black. They grey has a more secure Velcro latch system and seems more heavy duty than the black style. The black seems cooler and probably more comfortable for the mule as well better vision since it's not as thick. They are both well made and I recommend you try one of each style, since they are comparably priced. Manufacturer should consider making both colors in light and heavy duty to satisfy individual tastes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
