New feel
Quality of this brand is excellent. Great tread w/ lots of traction. Very like weight, so that's different. I'm not ready to give up my traditional irons, but these have appeal. I ordered all black for expedition purposes, but am pleasantly surprised & will use beyond that application.

Comfortable
As a rider in my 50's, I used to ride with the jointed stirrups, but these are much better. Light weight (better for my horse) and my knees and feet don't hurt as much after a long ride. The cushioned foot pad actually gives a little and is not so hard on my joints. Very happy with these. Have no idea how long they will last since I don't know if you can replace the foot pad if it breaks down after a long time of use - but for the price they are worth it.
