Force Needed to Operate Certain Keys Greater Than OEM Keyboard
This keyboard doesn't have the smooth tactile feel of the laptop original. Unlike the Acer original keyboard the spacebar seems to be less sensitive to inputs, almost like the original had a microswitch at each end so that spaces could be made with either right or left thumbs but this unit has only one in the center which means sometimes just a light motion with the right thumb is not enough to drepress the microswitch. I'm finding that I really have to use a lot more force with my right thumb to create a space than I had to with the Acer original. Also, the left cursor key does not operate smoothly.
