My Classic Rolex Oyster Perpetual No-Date Submariner Diving Watch My mother bought this classic no-date diving watch for me when I entered a Masters degree program in Marine Sciences at McGill University in 1974. I wore this watch while diving in the Caribbean, wreck diving on the Graveyard of the Pacific on the west coast of Vancouver Island and when conducting salmon fisheries studies in B.C. and SE. Alaska. It is by far the best watch I have ever owned and it stood up to the roughest field conditions you could ever imagine. No other diving watch even comes close to this classic Rolex as for quality, durability & reliability. It was self-winding and was perfect for any occasion. It had the date "1973" stamped on the inside of the watch band. As fortune would have it, my old Rolex was stolen from my home in California five years ago. It was like losing an old friend. That Classic Rolex Oyster Perpetual N0-Date Submariner was one tough, durable and stylish diving watch!!!Read full review

This is the no-date model 14060M. I chose this watch because it retains the features of the older submariners; lighter weight, no date-bubble, no rehaut engraving and aluminum bezel. I love this watch and it hasn't left my wrist since it arrived.

The no-date sub, built as God, James Bond, Steve McQueen intended. Works with a tuxedo or board shorts. No man ever regrets buying this piece

To me the 2000 to 2010 sub 14060M is the best classic and most recent movement out there, cant go wrong. personally like the clean 2 liner and no date cyclops which takes away from such a pretty face.
