Excellent as a Target Sight
Very High quality sight with some limitations. Not a great choice in a self defense situation- the objective lens is very small so slow to get lined up on the target, at least for my aging eyes. Extremely accurate once sighted in and the ability to mount in the original rear sight slot is a big plus. It is very small so should fit in most holsters for concealed carry. The one I received was defective- the wind adjustment set screws were very loose. After sighting in, they would not hold zero after a few shots ( Glock 22/ .40) so I had to return it which is why I only gave it 3 stars. I have several Leupold optics which are first rate so imagine this is a rare lemon. I would definitely buy it again to use as a target sight.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Incredibly easy to use!!
Super easy to use and any you'll be amazed at the increased target acquisition. You do need to remove the battery lid to take off/ put on your slide, but its a minor inconvenience. No need to mill your slide for a red dot or run overly tall suppressor height sights. There are back up iron sights built into the back of the housing, just in case batteries die. It uses "shake awake" technology, which means it goes to sleep when it's holding still for over 15 minutes and comes back on when it moves. So battery life is excellent.
