A lot of features and functions in a very small package. Can be used to replace several larger Bench type test gear.

This is the third nanoVNA I have owned. What I like most about this VNA is the metal shielding, 4.3" screen and ability to upgrade firmware easily through the USB port It is very accurate and comparable in the HF/VHF/UHF range to my current version model F ver 1 nanoVNA. I don't use it to analyze anything higher than 450 MHz so I don't know how it will do at the 3 GHz range. Without using desktop software is has very limited graphics like most nanoVNA's have. So, other than the basics of LogMag and VSWR you will really need to use PC software. What I wish is they had better pc software. Just about every nanoVNA is using either a version of nanoVNASharp or nanoSaver. nanoVNASharp has much more graphic capability than nanoSaver such as RLC and impedance graphs but it has severe limitations in the area of calibration, lack of export of Touchstone files (A GREAT FEATURE!) and a lack of ability to save calibration files to a pc. Overall the most compelling reason to use nanoSaver software is you can calibrate to many more points than the native 101 in all nanoVNAs. This allows much, much more accuracy at the expense of reduced processing speed. In summary, the F model version 2 is a nice VNA and electronically and mechanically very high quality. The native and desktop software is clunky compared to the other software and apps most of us use daily. But, in all fairness, all nanoVNAs have these software issues. I have a $300 RigExpert AA-55 antenna analyzer and all my nanoVNAs perform just as well or better and have more features. Read full review

A remarkable piece of engineering. Only 101 point data "samples" do limit performance (can miss signals entirely if scanning a very wide range); hence you have to understand how FFT's work to properly configure the device for certain measurements. For the price, it's been an excellent value and performed well in testing thus far. Also functions very well as an HF/VHF/UHF antenna analyzer and has helped characterize some of my Ham radio antennas. It's small size make it a valuable tool for setting up and maintaining antenna systems during field days, etc. The all-aluminum case is durable and protects the device very well against accidental drops, bench handling, etc. The on-off switch appears delicate, and I can see how it might be easily damaged in use. Thus far I've had no problems with that switch; but intend to treat it carefully (so I don't have to replace it). The foam-filled case allows extra room on the side for clearance to all of the switches (including the on-off switch). Carrying it in it's original packaging/shipping case seems more than adequate for providing reasonable protection. All in all, its been a very satisfying product and already helped solve some antenna performance problems.Read full review

Very useful for almost all RF measurements exsept duplexers due to lack of dynamic range to measure stopband. IT lacks some display intensety to work in broad dagligstue.

The VNA arrived well packed and in new condition. I am still in the learning process but everything seems to work as it should. A review at a later date would be better.
