Great Ford Y-block carb upgrade.
This carburetor is perfectly suited for Ford 292/312 Y block engines in regards to CFM specification. You will need an intake manifold adapter plate if you are replacing a Holley 4000. The vacuum lines accept hose connections so if you have threaded steel lines, you will also have to cut them and add a section of suitable hose and clamps. T-bird application: the OEM air filter will not fit this carburetor. I bought a Holley air filter kit for about $50 from a chain Auto parts store. It works and looks fine.
