Noisy, but got it to fit my toilet in the end.
I have purchased this same part number before and this one was different. It is quite noisy when filling the tank. It is constructed differently than the original one. The main tube (brass) on this one is not shielded with baffling. Also, the plastic piece on the top where the float shaft couples is on a different angle which made me have to twist the whole unit before tightening the flange nut. It was hard as the unit also has a flex tube to fill the bowl and it put considerable tension on everything. Looks like it was for a different model toilet, but the number was the same as previous purchases I made.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pricey But Essential Service Kit For Kohler Rialto K3402 One-Piece Low Profile Toilet
For the Kohler Rialto Model K3402 one-piece low profile unit, this is the service kit you need. Disappointing, however, is the fact that Kohler changed design and/or part sourcing for this kit since the version of approximately 10-15 years ago. Particularly irritating and inexplicable is the change to the rim fill tube float valve (the small black valve unit hanging off the side). This valve now angles away from the float rod (instead of parallel to it) and toward the bowl's rim fill inlet (where the semi-flexible rim fill tube attaches to the bowl). The angle is fixed and not adjustable. This makes attaching the semi-flexible rim fill tube much more difficult and places more strain on both the valve assembly and rim fill tube (which now must bend through sharper angles than with the original design). The kit is also expensive, but for Kohler models such as Rialto K3402 it's the only option. Quality is good, but you have to wonder about gratuitous design changes that impede rather than enhance product usability. Do Kohler ever talk to actual customers?

Poor quality, arrived broken.
