Incredible quality, but extremely heavy.
This light is typical DeWalt--extremely high quality and well built. It is 32 inches high and is VERY heavy. The light is incredibly bright and works well via blue tooth turn it off, on, change the intensity of the light, and also controlling which part of the light is on. I am a commercial roofer and purchased it to do emergency repairs at night on top of commercial roofs. It is so heavy there is no way we can safely get the light on the roof. Therefore, we will not be using it for that purpose. It would be absolutely wonderful for any use where light is needed to illuminate a large area (that is not a commercial roof)! Lol Great quality product. I just purchased a DEWALT DCL079B 20V Max Cordless Tripod Light and it is ideal for our purposes. It is a 3,000 lumen light, exactly the same lumens as the DCL070 on battery. The DCL079B is small enough to easily transport it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Extremely big.
This light is 32 inches tall and 20 inches wide at it’s base. It is a monster. I saw no dimensions in it’s description on line and when I cam home to find my package on my porch, I could not believe it. At first I thought, no way, I did not order a 16 gallon wet/dry vac. Lol. Otherwise it is very bright and well made, excluding it’s size. It’s Bluetooth capacities is also a great feature. I would have given it a five star rating but cannot because I don’t think they though it through on the size. I had thought this light would be also good for taking camping to light up the outdoors for nighttime activities in remote locations but getting it there conveniently is a huge drawback. It takes up so much space and is bulky. I think it will be a little better for work situations once I install wheels on the bottom. It does have 4 pre threaded slots in the foundation.

Dewalt DCL020 Jobsite area light
Awesome area light and well built..has 3/8" threaded coupling in bottom to add casters to make moving around even easier. A little pricey but can be found at a reasonable price with a little effort. Some complain that full illumination can not be achieved when on battery only operation...this is true BUT if you link it to Bluetooth thru the DeWalt tools app you can change this setting to use full illumination while on battery mode. Good but could be better.
The only reason I rate this Dewalt light at 4 stars instead of 5 is because it does not run the full 7000 lumens if you dont have it plugged into electric. It only runs at 3000 lumens max with battery which is a big difference, not even half as bright. It kind of defeats the purpose of being a cordless light. You can buy 3000 lumen cordless lights that are alot cheaper. And you can buy electric lights that are a lot brighter. Even if it had to have 2 batteries on it you should have the option of using the full 7000 lumens on battery only.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Its the perfect replacement for the old wobble light. Its bright and lights up large areas. The old metal halide lights took forever to warm up and if you accidentally kicked the cord you were in the dark for 15 minutes. Then there was the twin 1000 watt halogen lights which were ok but could never take the abuse of commercial construction. If they lasted a few weeks it was a bonus. Then there is the wobble light which were ok, but they are just outdated These are the new standard in construction lights.
