This dynamic app is fueled by a database that is routinely updated to ensure it remains a relevant resource. One of the standout features of the iEXOS-100-2 system is its German equatorial design. For observers, a GEM makes it easy to keep your celestial target in your eyepiece.
This thing does it all! For the price it really can’t be beat. Has over 70,000 objects it can automatically go to in its database and even can track for long exposures the Milky Way, nebulas and other galaxies. The motor is belt driven and relatively quiet compared to its competitors. The payload is not bad and can probably handle up to a 102mm refractor with a camera. The only drawback is you have to have at least an iPad or laptop to use the Explorestars app. I wish you could use it in your phone but oh well, works firm with my iPad. Overall amazing value!
I can't believe how easy out set up and you can get to viewing. I have 70mm svbony with camera and filter wheel it weighs 7 lbs to 9 depending on the camera I use no problems.
This a very good product, looks very sturdy. The app needed is not very good, only works with iPadOS and Laptops so that is something to consider when purchasing,
