Vostok Komandirskie, it is red
If you are buying a Vostok then you have a good idea of what you are getting yourself into. The case and design are pretty good for the money. The case fits well on the wrist, the lug to lug is comfortable and the curvature of the case is nice. I was drawn to this one because of the red dial and it does not disappoint. The bezel is loose and rotates both ways but you are most likely not taking this watch diving so not an issue. The bracelet is horrible, I tossed as soon as I open the box. I put it on a black and red Nato strap and it looks great. The only thing that took me by surprise was the crown and crown stem. They feel a bit wobble and fragile. I was able to set the time ok, but it feels like it could snap very easily. Overall though, for a $80 beater watch you could do a lot worse.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Overall a good watch considering its an automatic movement
I have been collecting watches for years, and decided to give this watch a chance only due to the company's experience in watch making. The watch is quite accurate considering that the automatic movement is not spectacular, but for the price point it is above what i was expecting. It is rated as a diving watch so the acrylic ( plastic) crystal makes sense. My only real complaint with this watch is the the crown. It is a screw down so to make it water proof, but when you unscrew it to adjust the time, the crown ( pin) is very flimsy, I thought that I was going to break it when I adjusted the time. The price point does not excuse the crown, as I have seen watches at Wal Mart have sturdier crowns. Only time will tell if the crown will last or not, as the company has been making watches for years.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Beautifully red, not wonderful but OK for the price
I love the looks of this watch but it runs fast, about 6-8 minutes per day, and at this price point it would cost more to take it to a watch repair place than to just live with this imperfection. I had never owned a Vostok before so, if you haven't either, don't panic when it looks like the crown is going to come off; apparently it is like that by design. It feels a little weird. Fortunately it is an automatic watch because winding it manually is also a challenge as there is a very tiny step between changing the time and screwing the crown back in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

An original timepiece for watch enthusiasts
This watch is not for everyone. Quality is normal, you will find better finish in a Casio. The adjustment of the different pieces is not the best of the market... but it is astonishing original like a Tarantino movie. And the caliber gives the time accurately. A timepiece like this for 75€? I already ordered another coloured in blue. And I will purchase more units in the near future.
