Most effective I have EVER used!!
K9 advantix II is without a doubt, the most effective flea and tick med for dogs I have EVER used!! I have two dogs, an American Eskimo with pure white hair. The other is a German Shepard. They are both house dogs. I have had a TERRIBLE time with fleas for years, especially on my dog with white hair. Her vet said they are most attracted to white. Ain`t no exaggeration! Every time they would go outside to conduct their `business`, in would come the dang fleas. I had put treatment on the yard, with little effect. Treated the house, moderate effect, used flea spays, which the dogs hated, and tried to use Frontline, which had no effect whatsoever. Waste of money. A lady at a pet store had recommended K9 advantix II. So, I bought some here on Ebay for both dogs. Within two days of treatment, every flea on both dogs were GONE. I have NOT had a flea problem in over a year now. NONE!! Zero!!! I was amazed at how well it works!!! My dogs have not had any side effects from it either. You do have to use it once a month, to keep up the effectiveness, although I have gone as long as 5 weeks between treatments with the same excellent results. I personally wouldn`t push it out more than 5 weeks between. I`m sold on this product, and have recommended it to others, who have been just as pleased with it. A good choice
It's hard to review a product you don't smell, taste or feel - you just apply it to your dog. Well, it applies easily, and doesn't smell, and doesn't seem to have any evident adverse reaction in the dog. I did notice that the product did spread across Sara's very fine, short fur (I dare you to create an empty patch of skin on her) rather than vanishing underneath it onto the skin. That happened somewhat with my previous product, and I don't know whether it's good or bad in terms of the product's effectiveness. I do know that a dog could easily rub the product off, and in a dry climate it may evaporate rather than work properly. Hence the 4 stars. I chose this product over my previous one because of the breadth of unwanted critters it repels and kills. Having used it only twice, I'll want more time to assess whether or not I will continue to use it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
