Mercruiser anti vapor lock
If you have a Mercruiser stern drive with vapor lock issues, this supplemental fuel pump, in combination with the sea water check valve, will solve your problem. Fixed it !
7.4L horizon with closed cooling system in a 2000 Carver 396. As described in the mercruiser service bulletin from 1999 due to ethenol blended fuel and hot bilge temperatures, both engines were vapor locking following a short sit. This system was the fix. Simple plug and play system if you have 3/8in fuel line. Mine is 5/8 so I had to purchase the 3/8 line to run from the supplied fuel filter to the new pump. The pump only has 3/8in fittings.

The kit really does work. It came with all fittings and parts, but it did not come with extra hose that was needed. Lucky i had some on my boat. Overall good product. OEM Mercury
