Be sure to order the fan for your needs. I did not need extreme volume of air but did want a quiet fan to cool some SSR electronics. This quiet lower volume fan was the perfect product. Nice package with molded cord for ac attachment (I cut off the end for my purpose but used the molded end as neater than soldered wire or spades). Unit comes with two screen fan guards, mounting screws, and silencing rubber washers. Very satisfied. Saved some money over purchasing from electronic outlets, and got them in mail next day.

I looked for a long time for a small, low-speed muffin fan for a special project. I got more than I expected when it arrived. First, the box and internal packaging are first rate. Inside, the excellent instruction manual got things off to a perfect start. Second, the accessories including the cord, long mounting screws with nuts and rubber washers and two guards for the fan were more than adequate. Last but not least, the fan is of the highest quality in terms of build, output and very low noise. Bottom line, this is a steal for the price. Period.

This is the second fan I've purchased from this seller, and I'll probably buy again. The last one sucks hot air out of one of my Swan tube HAM Transceivers. It was rated at 220V, but I run it a 120V so it will be quiet. This fan is JUST as quiet but it runs on 120V, and it moves more air. I can't hear the motor at all, even when it's sitting on my Formica bench. And the seller included EVERYTHING with this: A nice plug-in cord, the long bolts, nuts, and washers (black anodized), and very nice grills. This will be perfect for my tube HAM radio linear project. I definitely recommend this product, and the seller! W3AFC

Really great little fan for hot running high power tube amps like Dynaco ST-70; estimate it keeps the amp about 35% cooler, minimum. Should greatly prolong the life of this expensive amp. The straight 120-volt AC motor can be plugged into AC outlet on back of preamp --much more powerful than little 12-volt fans which need to be wired into amp's filament circuit.

These are high quality fans. I have both the 5" and the 3" versions and the secret to them is the bearings. Turn the fan off and just watch how long the fan blades keep spinning. Be careful as to which version you order, the high speed {HS} or the Low Speed [LS} . The HS will move more air but may not be suitable for an environment that you want quiet. The LS is just the ticket for quiet running and they work well....

Purchased this fan for my A/V cabinet. Great value. Moves a lot of air, very quiet, hardly know it's running. Keeps my stereo equipment cooler. Great price. Also purchased a power cord with on/off switch. works great.

I bought this to install in a guitar amp. It works well is low mouse and produces no audible hum or interference. Its exactly what I expected from this type of AC muffin fan. Its small size makes it ideal for projects that need cooling or forced ventilation
