However, of the several egg ring offering, this is the best. So, this product merits an exceptioin. The LODGE Egg Ring seems impervious to high heat. It stores flat. The little handle stays in place while cooking. And, most importantly, it has a consistently smooth surface - no little cracks or defects for egg particles to hide in and promote bacterial growth; the LODGE Egg Ring surfaces clean up very well. Highly recommend.
