I like this camera. It is very easy to use, takes great pictures, and it's very easy to transfer photos to the computer with the usb cord. Camera has basic photo editing software so you can preview a photo and then rotate the orientation or crop the image directly on the camera. It will record videos with sound...a 2 gig memory card will hold about 38 minutes of low quality video ( 640 x 480 ). The video is good enough to send people videos through email or upload to YouTube, but not good enough to watch on a HD Television. The only reason I gave this camera 4 stars instead of 5 is I didn't want people to think that they are getting a $300+ camera for around $100. Camera deserves 5 stars based on price and ease of use, but it is the only Sony 2010 model that uses AA batteries instead of a rechargeable battery pack. The camera lens is ok…the 3x zoom lens is best for taking photos at less than 25 feet and landscapes.Read full review
Small, Simple, and easy to use. I really like the ability to use Double A batteries its handy and easy. This is a really basic camera with a simple and easy to use UI. The only thing I don't like is the low-resolution low contrast lcd Screen, it does not give the most accurate representation of how the pictures actually look, the pictures always look better on the computer. Over-all this camera is a breeze to use and is light and rugged.

I'm very happy with this purchase. It's got a lot of features for the money, it takes *great* macro shots, and it's light and easy to hold. About the only fault I'd find with it (and this is probably my problem, rather than a problem with the camera) is that it's more complicated than what I'm used to. There are a lot of features that take time to really understand (e.g., smile detection). Once you get over that, though, you'll find yourself taking some gorgeous shots. :)
I bought this product because I like to film my breakdancing. i like that: - the quality can be crystal clear. The footage flows so well. I believe it has a high frame rate at least 30 or so. - It's a beautiful camera. It's silver and the design is amazing. - i got a lot of value out of the money I paid for it I dislike how: - their is no sound on the playback. - it could be smaller in size - even on the highest setting, the quality of pictures is only okay (so don't lete 12.1 mp fool you)
This camera is well worth the money. It is extremely easy to use and has very friendly controls. The picture quality is absolutely stunning. Nothing really more to say about this camera. I have owned 3 Sony Cyber-shot's from 5.0mp - 12.1mp, needless to say my 5.0 is still in good working condition and its over 8 years old. Longevity and quality, this camera is rated a solid A in my book.
It's a great little camera. I purchased it right before we left on vacation and the set-up, directions, software were all pretty easy to follow. I purchased a memory card for it and can now take hundreds of pictures. I was able to flawlessly upload the pictures to my laptop for storage and the rest of the pics I kept on the memory card until we got home. Then I had them printed out at a retail store for a fraction of the cost that it would be if I printed them myself. I love the new technology of it all. Plus the price was really a bargain. I took hundreds of pictures and my batteries showed low, then after 'resting' they seemed to re-charge again. Anyway, it was a good purchase for me.
