Bass fished with this on small lakes known for their small bass (3 lbs. is big). The rod is stiffer than I was expecting (that is a positive), but not as sensitive as I was expecting (that's a negative). Outstanding for the money...
I love fishing with ultralight gear. You can feel everything. The Okuma Celilo doesn't disappoint. Even as an ultralight it surprised me how thin it is at the grip, but it doesn't feel flimsy. The taper on it feels just right. I haven't actually even caught a fish with it yet, so I might wind up hating it.
