Considering the price of the Exilim EX-S5, this model is cheap, affordable, and good for its class. The camera has few downfalls, and many good sides. The picture quality is really good. I found out that if the Best Shot option is used correctly, it can make all the difference between crisp and clear photos, and grainy unfocused photos. If you are using the camera in low-level light conditions, it can do very well considering others in its class if you use the correct setting. Sadly, these settings use a very long exposure, so be prepared to sit and hold the camera still for a few seconds. The Children and the Pet best shot setting have a fast shutter speed, so I don't think all of the complaints about shutter speed are valid. The camera has a sleek design and is very compact. It is attractive and a very good camera to have if you are just looking for a simple, easy to use, point-and-shoot camera.Read full review
I bought this for a friend overseas so features such as NTSC/PAL output on video were important, and this camera had it all. The outut to TV is a nice feature for showing friends, although the sound seems to have trouble going through, but that could also be a problem with the user (me) and not the camera. The videos themselves are a better quality for what I was expecting. A pleasant surprise. The full control mode takes some getting used to, to produce good clear pictures, but the easy mode (which offers limited adjustments for the users, the rest being automatic) works quite nicely. We used it for our Christmas pictures and video as a trial and they turned out wonderfully. The YouTube video selection is also an added bonus whether you are going to upload or just saving space on your memory card. The lithium batter is also a key feature which I am glad was not sacrificed. All in all it has been a great camera, sharp looking without being ostentatious, fairly easy to use (I'm still getting used to full control mode), one that I have enjoyed and am sure that our friend will too.Read full review
I have owned a Casio Exilim Products in the past, and for my dollar the easiest point and shoot cameras on the market to use. I was able to acclimate my self to this camera bundle very easily with the knowledge I have from prior purchases. This Ebay seller has put together a great hassle free, user friendly bundle, at an awesome price. I plan on purchasing others as gifts to young photographers just getting into taking pictures. The only thing that might make these bundles better for the persons not familiar with their new purchase, is if the seller could provide a link to a PDF File to view the owners manual for each camera in the bundle. I didn't need it but others might. I strongly recommend this Ebay seller and his Camera Bundles, plus thet have an awesome feedback rating !!

This is actually my second Exilim Ex-5, the first one I broke. I liked this camera so much I bought a second one. It is small, easy to use, has a good image stabalizer and takes great pictures. The problem I had with my old one is that that I inadvertanly turned this camera on while I had it stored with the lens blocked stripping the lens gears. I store my new camera with the battery removed to avoid this happening again, it only takes a few seconds to pop the battery in.
I've only ever had a Casio Exilim Digital Camera. well, once I bought a Vivitar digital camera, that had a touch screen on it. no buttons. just a touch screen. that camera drove me crazy. I had it for two~three days max & had to take it back because I couldn't figure out how to work the damn thing. at least Casio Exilim has never given me such headaches. I think I'll stick with Casio Exilim. It's what I know, and what I'm accustomed to. It's what I like. besides, they look great besides the fact they work great. they are worth the money spent on them. Most Importantly, they're Easy to Understand & to learn how to work, without the Headaches of other digital cameras. I Highly Reccomend a Casio Exilim. :)you Can't go wrong with Great Quality. :)and This Camera is that. Great Quality.:) oh, just don't accidently drop it in the water. they Aren't waterproof. I found that out the hard way. I accidently dropped mine in the water recently. I was peeved at myself for that expensive boo boo. which is why I'm buying another. oh, my other one does work as good as new, once I got all the water out & let it dry out for three days. maybe it didn't have time to be ruined for good, cus as soon as I heard it "plop" into the water, I grabbed it out immedietly. it was in the water a max of 5 seconds. but long enough to make it not work for 3 days. anyway, you Can't go wrong with Casio. I Highly Reccomend This Camera to Anyone. It's Light weight, Stylish, Compact, can fit into any pocket eaisly & it works Exceptionally well.Read full review
