What can I say. Kodak has been around since the beginning of cameras and looks like they are on the rebound. This camera is an oldie but goodie and takes remarkable shots and is so easy to use. Highly recommend it as a spare camera or even as a first camera. You can use on full auto or can use it to learn to use the settings to take your own pictures.

Unfortunately this item was in very bad shape. We got it on for a few seconds to find someone else's pictures still on it. But before we could do anything the camera clicked off and wouldn't start again. I would have been ashamed to sell an item in this condition, even at the very small price charged. It should have just gone into the trash bin. Sorry. Lesson learned.

I bought a pair of these for Christmas, for my sweetheart and I. I took the higher megapixels, he got this camera. This one is actually more user friendly, and a little larger and more substantial. The screen is slightly smaller. The pics are amazing, it is light enough to carry anywhere, but tough enough to still work after the first time we dropped it (00PS) We plan to use it on horseback trail rides, and to sell stuff out of our storage unit, and keep current pics on facebook. The memory card is soo easy to stuff into the laptop, download, and post super fast and easy enough my 4 year old could do it! Gotta love that! The camera docking station is great to recharge batteries, and we bought extra rechargeables on ebay for it too! Life passes to fast. Record it while you can!
Wanted something reasonable if it got lost/broken it wouldnt matter much. Does a great job for an older low pixel camera. I'm really enjoying this one more than my more expensive 14 mega pixel camera. The picture quality is suprisingly nice. I have taken it out to the mountains and the desert and gotten some beautiful color shot with it so far. Have noticed that nearly all my pics are keepers. Havent had to delete much yet except for bad shots on my part. A few things I love about it is that it takes AA batteries and they seem to last and last. You can set it to auto or tinker abit with the settings if you wish. One thing I dislike is it larger size wont fit in pocket but the trade off for nice shots is worth it.
Never underestimate the power of the smaller sensor camera! The Z700 is easy to use. The on-screen menu is easy to use. The camera is automatic. One has a degree of exposure control by using the EV compensation if needed. The camera has Macro capability to 4 inches. Colors are vibrant and true. The Z700 is an all round excellent shooter. If you like Black & White prints, switch to Black and White mode. You can get great results by printing B&W pictures on a powder printer to place into an album. You can obtain prints up to 8X10 size, color or B&W. I've include one Macro photo that I took with the Z700. 1/45 of a second handheld. The camera is retro styling, pretty cool.
