I love my camera for the most part its easy to switch to black/white and sepia tone which is great so I am not alway doing color pics. It has alot of neat feature. It also takes good pic. I don't like the sports mode I wanted the camera to take on the boat with me so I didn't have to take my good one. If you like to take pics from a boat this camera is not a good one to use. And I also don't like that as soon as the sun goes down it doesn't take good pics. I would recrement this camera for a back up. I cary it in my purse at all times. Its so easy to use that 5 year old take pics with it as well. This is a good camera for the price.
I love the camera- the pictures are excellent. It took a while to get used to the different settings - but otherwise is simple and easy to use. My only problem - and my fault for not investigating more - is that the power is supplied by AA batteries. I have a Kodak Easyshare 8.2 and the same cable I download with recharges the battery. My mistake - but the camera works great and I had no problems at all using the same software in my computer. I don't regret buying it - it really takes wonderful photos and is easy to use in a variety of settings. I bought it for EBay, and our pictures turn out fabulous. Much more clarity and detail. It was a bargain.
"It's an average camera. However it is low cost. Navigating through the "on-screen" options takes longer than with other cameras that have a button specific to a particular function. For example: Some cameras have a "timer" button that you simply press and pose. This camera requires 7 button pushes to activate the 10 second "timer." I had a less expensive Kodak that you only had to push one button, one time. Don't know why Kodak didn't just use the same feature on this camera.. Otherwise, it is an average camera that does get the job done." "It is very easy to use this camera, that my 7 year old granddaughter can use it. Great quality pictures and video."It's an average camera. However it is low cost. Pros: This camera takes excellent photos. There is no need to touch up the photos with Photoshop or other photo software. The colors are amazing and photos very clear. It is easy to use. Cons: Very low memory without a memory card. You can take only 5 or 6 photos before memory is full. Card should be provided with the camera. Also, it goes through batteries very quickly. It seems you can use the camera only 3 or 4 times and the batteries are dead. It uses 2 AA batteries, which come with the camera, but the camera takes AA lithium batteries also, which are not provided. Lithium batteries last longer, I believe. I bought rechargeable batteries with charger. I have not used the chargeable batteries as yet, but from other reviews I have read, these need to be charged often. I will next try the lithium batteries and see if they work best. I purchased this camera because of the price, brand and megapixels.Read full review
2 days after I received the Kodak C180 Camera I was given a Kodak C182. They are both are very easy to use, which is good for me. The Kodak batteries that came with the cameras didn't last very long. I got new Duracell Power Pic and everything works great and they last. The 3" screen on the C182 is easier to view, as my grandmother couldn't see with the 2.5" on the C180. The 12mp on the C182 makes enlargements sharper. I am useing both, C180 always in the car and the C182 for most everything else. I really love the EASYSHARE softwear, easy to use and it is so much fun to try the different things offered on my pictures. My sister looks better on the cartoon mode!!
