A very good camera within its capabilities. 2.0 megapixels is excellent for snapshots of family and friends or vacation snapshots. If you want to do more with it such as capture the action at a race or football game, zoom in on an object several yards away or take pictures in low light such as around a campfire, then look for something with more capabilities. For the price, this camera is just what I wanted. I'm not the type of person who needs the latest technology nor am I the type of person who expects first class travel for coach prices. I'm the type of person who wants to buy a camera for a good price,is easy to use, be able to take some good pictures with it but not cry over it when I drop it in the water, accidently smash it against a rock or lose it in an airport. This is a very good camera. It has a lot of capabilities even if it is not the best available. I am very happy with it.Read full review
This is a great little camera for the dollars, given it's fairly old now. I've own dozens of digital cameras and this one ranks right up there. The quality of the pictures is good and the flash intensity is better than many. The camera isn't as flimsy or delicate as a lot of cameras out there. Two megapixel is more than enough for a great picture. I have a new 10 megapixel Sony and this one take just as nice a picture at 2 megapixel, for a fraction of the cost. The downside of this camera is size, it's a bit large for your pocket and it used regular AA batteries if I recall and obviously they are good for a very short time.
I really like this camera. Even though it is only 2 mp it takes decent pics and the flash range is impressive. I tested it outdoors and the flash was good out to around 35 feet or more which is more than adequate in most instances. The only drawback is it's limited memory stick capability with a 128 mb being the largest that can be used without getting an error message. It shouldn't be a problem though since the 128 mb card will store 133 pics. For someone wanting an inexpensive camera with a fixed lens and is easy to use, this camera fits the bill.
I like the size of the camera & that it's your basic digital camera. It does what it needs to do. At such a low price, I couldn't pass it by. I needed a 2nd replacement/ backup camera to go along with a DSLR and a regular point&shoot camera. This camera was purchased just to have an extra little camera that will take an OK pic sitting around the house. I wouldn't recommend it for a serious professional photographer but for any novice, it can get the job done. Just remember it's only 2.0 mega pixels, so don't expect great quality & precise detail. Also, remember to get more than a few memory sticks & extra AA batteries.
This is an older model. I had bought one new several years ago that no longer works. This model is very functional for taking pictures of ebay items. Very inexpensive since it is not the latest technology. Memory sticks come in a variety of sizes. Easy to operate. Zoom in and easy to download. Pictures come out clear with good resolution.
