If I were to recommend this title, I would state that this more of a gimmick than an actual album. The style was very much a part of the decade, but people weren't ready for an abstract character to have an album that wasn't mainstream character wise. Although popular because of Paula Abdul's video "Opposites Attract", there was never a follow-up, tie-in video off of any other Paula Abdul albums following. People were too skeptical to take a chance on hearing songs not knowing what to expect. In this day and age, this would be somewhat of a more accepted style of music, since a good portions of artists are becoming less and less real and more cgi to cartoon. A primary example of cartoon characters being music artists people should recognize is "The Gorillaz". So, maybe now is the perfect time to re-introduce Skat Kat to the public once again!Read full review
