Ok here we go. No surprise that if you use Glock OEM parts, you wont' have problems. So for my polymer 80 PF940Cv1 build I bought this and then an aftermarket stainless steel recoil spring/guide rod, with the same factory 18lb spring in it. Only because, the Gen 3 OEM recoil spring was polymer and had some issues cracking and breaking. I hit the range and brought both recoil springs. After 200 rounds they both performed well. No stoppages, no failures of any sort. And I shot mixed 115, 124 and 147g 9mm. I highly recommend. Go ahead, pull the trigger and buy with confidence. I have a Glock 19 gen 4 slide. For the Gen 3 recoil spring to fit, you need the recoil spring adapter. Can't go wrong with Glock OEM parts.

I bought this guide rod made for a Glock to modify a sigma sw9ve. And it works perfectly. It allows me to shoot the least expensive factory target loads all the way to the most expensive factory loads with no more jamming. And it is of a better quality guide rod compared to the factory rod.

I replaced this stock spring assembly in my G32 with a stainless version and experienced light, off center primer strikes and failures to fire (FTF). The reason was the slide was not returning to battery. I re-installed the stock spring and the light strikes went away as did the FTF. I bought this one as a back-up. The more I try to upgrade my Glock the more I end up returning it to stock.

I replace my recoil spring every 2000 rounds. That works out to about once a month. OE guide rod and spring are all you need. Forget the aftermarket ones.

OEM Part. Works great. For each of my glocks I have 1 back up guide rod. Good to have just in case. Especially since I shoot thousands of rounds per day 5 days a week. Over time things ware out, Its natural . If you dont know when to replace, you will feel it and know when its time. Happy shooting.

Its a good deal on a factory glock part. Never hurts to have one or 2 spares in your range bag.

This is a factory replacement. My glock 19 has thousands of rounds through it and this new guide rod just brought the out of the box feel right back. Its like shocks they quit performing over time and you don't notice the ride being bad till you replace them. Buy a new guide rod!
