The Ubiquiti locoM900 is easy to set up, and it works great, even with some trees and a few houses in the line of sight. With external antennas and a clear line of sight between two towers, I was able to set up a reliable link at 3Mbps over 14 miles(22.5km). Please note that distance, objects in the path, and interference sources near 900MHz will cause the speed to be reduced. The less there is in the space between units, the better they work. Also note that it is best to use pure copper Cat5e/Cat6 with these units, as they have relatively high power requirements, and copper clad aluminum cable cable is not sufficient.

The M900 is a quality bridge that will punch through trees and foliage to bring high speed internet or our network to a remote location. When 2.4ghz wouldn't get through, 900mhz did the job well, It costs over twice the price of the 2.4, but works better in our case.

If you are wanting to send network over long distances, a couple of these will do the job. I have installed several sets of these and have only had a couple failures. Can even have several clients running at the same time! Richard.
