Wella Balsam is the perfect conditioner match for my hair which is straight and slightly coarse. It gives softness without making it limp. I first used Wella Balsam in my 40s when my hair was long and still brown. After not finding it for several years, it was re-discovered on eBay. Now that my hair is short and white,Wella Balsam still performs perfectly for me. It's much more expensive than it used to be.
