Countless musicians across the world, representing every genre and playing style, have chosen Tortex Picks to help them do what they love.Made in the USA. And we still make them at the Dunlop HQ in Benicia, California.
I located these for a friend who live out in the far reaches of nowhere. Since he is disabled now he never makes it to town.
It is his cabin, his garden, and to church.
The last time I was down to visit him I gave him a pick I found in the mud where his old car used to sit.
He laughed and saidd he had just broken the last corner off his old pick singing and picking for God.
He chuckled a bit and said this pick would not last long, and that he had not used one like it for over 7 years.
He told me what he prefers to use.
Heck I had never seen one like what he described.
I looked it up online and found a local vender had them by the dozen.
Three plusses there...It will take him quite a while to go though a dozen... The price was great... And they were here in less than a week.
Heck, my buddy can chew the corners off and they will still last a long time.
I'm going to see him in the next few days, and he is going to be delighted.
Thanks for helping me make my buddy smile, greenback44.
You are my hero, Carson
I ordered two gages of these, 1.0 & 1.14. I really like these picks for acoustic instruments for the tone quality & for the grip factor of the tortex material. I prefer the 1.14 for guitar & the 1.0 for mandolin.
