I read a customer post on the internet that this lotion was good as a no-see-um repellent while outdoors. I could not vouch for it one way or the other since my "test" was inconclusive. It does have a nice, clean fragrance that lasts a while. This is the same great fragrance now as when it was first introduced. It smells so good, that it's a disappointment when it wears off so quickly.
