This Flitz Product Sux
I have used the blue Flitz metal polish for years and this product bears no resemblance to the quality of one I have used in the past. So far, I have yet to find anything that it will polish as it says it will. I guess I am resigned to using the bottle as a paper weight. Flitz- Surprise! It's gone GREEN!
I am a Flitz believer. I have used it on my stainless steel dive watches for a while now, and It's wonderful! It makes the little desk swirls disappear. I also have used it on my pistols and rifles. I polished the lockwork on my old surplus Israeli Browning Hi Power and it made for a much better trigger. I also used it on the feed ramp, and it eliminated a feed issue that I was having. It's great for making a bolt action rifle 'butter smooth'. I was expecting the usual BLUE PASTE, but FLITZ is claiming to be environmentally friendly so now it's GREEN to reflect the claim. Have used Flitz polish for years - It's great stuff w/o abrasives
My bottle of very old Flitz metal polish lasted and lasted since a little goes a long way. I replaced it with a brand new bottle to keep on hand. I used the old polish primarily on nickel plated metal with beautiful results! The text on the new bottle contains a contradiction since it's suggested for use on "Silverplate" (among other surfaces) but there's mention of "Not For - Electroplated Metals".
