Used this vid when it first came out! I have recently gotten back into Pilates, and this workout with the band intensifies the workout! Pilates flattens and tones my core area better than any workout out there in a much more pleasant way, also in faster time!

These 10 minute exercise segments all involve the use of a band, which did not come with the dvd. However, I have light hand weights and a resistance cord which substituted well. Some of these exercises did just fine without a band, too. The vender was great, dvd came very quickly and in good shape.

I decided to buy this DVD because after 3 months of doing the same cardio routine with only a little Windsor Pilates thrown in here and there....I hit a plateau in my weightloss. I love the Windsor Pilates series, but this DVD with the bands really takes it up a notch! I was really wanting something that would work the upper body, like the machines at the gym do....and this DVD has that...and so much more! There are five 10 minute workouts. I love how the DVD lets you customize your workout, so you can set it up to do all 5 workouts in a row, or 3 or just one, without having to go back to the main menu. And the time just seems to fly by!! The only draw back I would see is that this is not a DVD for a pilates beginner. If you have never done a pilates workout, you will be lost. The instructor, while thorough, moves quickly. I found myself behind a few times. But by the 2nd or 3rd time, it was no problem to keep up. Over all, I am really excited about this new workout I have found! I look forward to doing it, almost every day...I mean only 10 min workouts...who dosen't have at least 10 minutes a day? I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a little pilates knowledge, and wants to tone up and slim down!!Read full review

The instructor is very clear and thorough in her directions, and the moves are intense!! You can adjust the intensity of the moves shown in this workout, by holding the band tighter or by using another band that yields greater resistance. My sister tried it and saw for herself that the exercises are challenging but not intimidating, and she doesn't work out much! I myself workout 4-6 times a week, but need more upper body workouts. This one had my triceps burning for sure!!
