But there is no other NBA star like the great Michael Jordan. And MJ’s 1996 Mercedes-Benz S600 Lorinser sold on eBay in 2020 for $202,200.
Alex Manos, the owner of the Beverly Hills Car Club, has the vehicle's title listing Michael and Juanita Jordan as the original owners. “Michael Jordan was a magically gifted basketball player who, when you watched him, took your breath away,” said Manos. “His S600 Lorinser is such an elegant vehicle that driving it will get you in touch with your inner Michael Jordan.”

The history of the Lorinser tuning house—based in Winnenden, Germany—dates back to the 1930s when it was a Mercedes-Benz re-seller. The company became a Benz tuner in the 1970s, earning a long list of celebrity clients, including another NBA great, Shaquille O’Neal, and F1 racing legend Niki Lauda.

The Mercedes-Benz W140 series of vehicles were made from 1991 to 1998. They are known for their tall roofs and large side windows. With each new model, the flagship Benz offered higher levels of technology innovation, creature comforts, and safety.
