Stock Versus Modded

This episode of Between 2 Rides pits Hunt’s modified British Racing Green 2022 BMW M4 XDrive Competition against a base model BMW 430i in an impromptu race on the iconic 4th Street Bridge in Los Angeles, Calif. Hey, it’s Tinseltown, where they’re more than happy to close streets and bridges to make movie magic.
This is no mere overpass. The nearly 100-year-old bridge served as a set for countless movies and TV shows, including The Fugitive, Grease, Live Free or Die Hard, and Moonlighting.
As any knowledgeable BMW aficionado would expect, the factory-rated 503-horsepower M4 Competition vanquishes the base 430i, producing a modest 255 HP. As fast as the M4 Competition may be, Hunt still had plenty of opportunities to modify his ride.

The Challenge Goes Airborne

This episode takes to the sky, employing professional skydiver Travis Fienhage to answer a burning question. Will a ride in the shotgun seat with Hunt hooning his mighty modded M4 Competition scare you more than jumping out of an airplane?
With over 15,000 jumps, Fienhage’s skydiving skills are on display in two nail-biting action films: Ironman and Triple X. Fienhage also worked as a stuntman and stunt driver in countless movies and TV shows, including the ABC series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
The B2R crew captures the fright level by monitoring Fienhage’s heart rate. As it turns out, Travis isn’t easily scared until TJ turns up the wick. We could tell you the rest, but why spoil the surprise? Put on those headphones, lean back, and turn up the volume.
