By the mid-1980s, Honda was quickly expanding beyond basic economy cars. The 1985 Honda Accord SE-i sedan for sale on eBay represents how far the Japanese automaker had come in producing compelling fun-to-drive vehicles.

The SE-i’s bold departure helped introduce the brand to a new group of buyers. This Accord shared features—such as power steering and brakes and an AM/FM cassette stereo—with lesser Accord trims. The SE-i was also the first Honda sold in the United States with standard fuel injection for increased performance and efficiency. This 1985 Honda Accord SE-i has had only two owners since new. Its condition reflects excellent long-term care. After spending its first few years in Georgia, the Honda and its first owner relocated to California.
