    Wow the xeon X5670 is Amazing!!

    I went from a W3450 to this bad boy X5670 and for the price it is a massive upgrade. You can see a huge difference in performance. The computer definitely booted faster. Desktop was loaded before I even turned my monitor on. This upgraded a sever PC Dell precision T3500. Tho I'm using it as a gaming PC xeon performs surprisingly well!! If you got a LGA1366 socket motherboard, or computer laying around and wanna give it a cheap upgrade this is the best option!

    Great value in a 6-core CPU

    Was looking to upgrade a 2010 Mac Pro from a quad core to a 6 core for better performance. Choices were X5670, X5680 and X5690. Comparing features and clock speeds, the price of the X5670 ($50) outweighed the slight performance increases of the 4x more expensive X5690. To me, for an economical upgrade, this is the sweet spot.

    Very Cheap CPU Upgrade for Old (x58) Asus P6T Motherboard

    Great upgrade for old I7-920 cpu for Asus P6T (x58) motherboard. With very little effort I was able to easily overclock this replacement cpu from 2.93GHz to 3.6GHz. Now my computer is much faster with 6 cores instead of 4 cores.
