If the clasp wasn't so easy to accidently release, this device would be a five. Yes, it is out of production, but if you don't need the heart rate monitor, it is a great tracker. Mine holds a good charge (~5-6 days). I love the feature that shows how many building stories were climbed in addition to the time, calories, steps and miles. The tracker connects easily with the dashboard and seems fairly accurate. Brand new or factory refurbished trackers can be found for as little as $50. So, if you want a Fitbit and don't want to pay the price of the newest and greatest charge, buy one. Just watch that you don't lose it if the clasp pops open.

I rather like the idea of the Fitbit and have put it through its paces since I've had it - about 3 weeks. However, battery life is advertised at approx 7 days and that seemed so the first week. Second week, it needed charging after about 3 days. This week it is reporting battery low emergencies after 1.5-2 days - not as advertised and somewhat aggravating. I want to be wearing it and having it doing its job rather than sitting on the dang charger. Truly...could we just get something that performs as promised? Just one thing...

Great activity wristband. Appears to be a new battery, over a week between charges. Works just like my old Charge with fitbit software. Everything is like new condition.

I’ve had off brand fitness trackers and have owned Fitbits. They are really the best - easy set up, lasting charge, comfortable to wear. Highly recommend.

I followed the YouTube video on how to install it. I got all the screws off the old one, but had trouble putting the new screws in on the new wristband. The screws are tiny and I think I shredded the screws while taking them out. I went to an old standby, superglue. I used superglue on the new attachment, works fine as I was only able to get two of the old screws in. Fitbit is up and running with new band.
